I don't know if it would be the direct cause of world piece, but given that globalizing companies get a hold of it, they would surely bring countries together (but that's because free market globalization may be the only way to achieve a world peace like state).

Marijuana doesn't hurt anyone and, if anything, prevents people from hurting others or themselves. It is the most harmless drug to be currently illegal and it's actually pretty sad that so many politicians in America (Obama being one of them) refuses to hold a debate on whether Marijuana is actually bad or not.

As a social Libertarian, I believe that most drugs should be legalized even if they do kill the user mainly because I believe in liberty; but marijuana has never killed anyone by normal use. It's probably even impossible to overdose on marijuana. And, it's a hell of a lot safer to drive high than to drive drunk. Sure, you can drive super stoned; but if you smoked a bowl or two, you'll just pay closer attention to traffic laws. People who drive high follow the speed limit and obey all legal stops.

I'd like to add the fact that pot would easly be hit with tax and gst so the greedy would get there happy little pice.

think when was the last time you have herd of dope fuled violance... no, its teen binge add this stop drunken violance that, all stoners do is mellow out and say ''dude''.

not to mention say the world was one big reffer head it would be good for food traders (given the munchie effect) as well as genral marketing of any goods, everything would be more apealing and im sure the suicide rate would go down.

If the government thinks it needs to put someone onto that registry, then it's obvious that they need to extend sentencing times rather than hound people after they've served their time and received their punishment. Instead what they're doing is painting a target on the back of the people on that list. It's only a matter of time before these lists start leading to the deaths of the people on them.

There has also never been a reported death because of weed. Imma stoner and I'm proud of it but everyone does they're own thing. I still believe that it should be legal even though i doubt that's going to happen considering the people that are against it would have to say they're wrong and everyone knows they're heads are too far u they're asses to do

Countries should realize that they can make plenty of revenue from the sale of marijuana.
