It should go single payer .

Single payer, eh? That's quite a euphemistic term for a government monopoly, wouldn't you say?

Since when was the Patient Protection Act a complete government monopoly? Last time I checked it simply aims to increase the quality and affordability in health insurance, that's all and its individual mandate was a conservative idea under president George HW Bush founded by the conservative think tank The Heritage Foundation!

Well I wouldn't, single payer means that you have one entity providing the service and paying for it, if it were a monopoly it would just be the former.

Raise the full time employee coverage requirement to 500 and eliminate the medical device tax, other than that it's fine.

Oh, and no exemptions.

Were it not the federal government overseeing things, I would vote for fixed. But given the time it takes the federal government to get ANYTHING done, I think we'd be better served scrapping the current incarnation and going back to the drawing board for a better solution for national health care. I think national health care is a great idea and a very noble aspiration for any society, but I don't think I've seen a good implementation of it- passable at best- and this particular one seems worse than the others in many ways.
