Yes, no... I don't really give a rats ass... I like the libertarian platform so I pretty much think people should be allowed to do whatever they want as long as it doesn't negatively affect others so, sure! Let 'em do it! But the tax structure has to be fair... polygamists shouldn't gain tax rebates because of being married to more than one person. Side: Yes!
Yes, I think it would be very handy, as long as I was wife#1 and I could pick out a couple more brides. It would be nice to have a couple more women around to help with housework, babysit, swap clothes with, pick on the husband at times, and I could always say....Wife #2....you can sleep with his snoring ass tonight!! Side: Yes!

Should it be one man and multiple women, or one woman and multiple men, or multiple men and women? This brave new world the young generation is building is alien to me. Thank God I'll be checking out soon enough ;) A man can barely handle one woman, let alone multiple women. A woman, once properly lubed, can last a lot longer than one man so she should be able to satisfy multiple men. I don't see men going for that idea. Multiple men and multiple women? Why bother getting married then? Just do the swapping thing. I don't know. I don't get any of it. This whole mess started a long time ago. Why in my days..., we didn't have days...., until someone said, let there be light. And that's how it all started and it went down hill from there ;) Side: Yes!
The prob is only when your caught cheating.. So if Men can get themselves stiff enough and ask their wife's permission to be their next wife's Bridesmaid then Whoa you have the luckiest thing in your life. And also in places like Afghanistan n Saudi you can see Wives of the same husband Best friends for life. So it aint Impossible. But if there is anyone out there planning for this.. Make sure you don't get the other one jealous from the other one. You'll lose all your valuables. Side: Yes!

After reading a few more arguments, I remembered what it meant and I think it should be legal because some religions believe that a man should be allowed to marry multiple woman and to be politically correct we should embrace these "new" cultures and learn to live alongside their beliefs. Of course they only marry multiple women because they think women are inferior and that isn't politically correct either... Side: Yes!

When one man marries three women, two other men don't marry. When one man marries four women, three other men don't marry. Monogamy gives everyone a shot at marriage. With a effectively parity between male and female populations worldwide and in most societies and communities, allowing men to marry multiple wives carries the risk of leaving many men with now wives to marry. The costs of this effect are enormous. It can be devastating to these men and their hopes and dreams. Governments should avoid actions that increase the amount of people who cannot get married.

Just from a girl's perspective, the day that I possibly get married, I would like to be the only wife, not five others. Since I would be spending my life with my husband, I would much rather spend it with him than a bunch of other wives, whom he may love more than me. The marriage would be pointless. Also, although I am a female, I do not like spending a lot of time with other girls because, ironically I find my own gender to be at times very irritating, I would not want to be in a house full of women. Side: No!
