Professional sports are a business. At the end of the day, money is what it's all about. The next most important aspect of running a successful sports franchise is providing entertainment for your fan base. At a professional baseball game, what you rather see? A game with three hits combined for both teams, a whole bunch of bunts and sacrafice hits. Or would you rather be at a game where the score is twelve to nine, twenty hits in the game with four or five homeruns hit as well. I don't know about you, but as a fan of the game, I pay big money to go to these games. I want to see home runs.

In essence This means that since McGwire's vision was "unnaturally enhanced" this should've been considered cheating. If you can alter your eye sight unnaturally than why cant you do the same with your muscles.

If you make steroids legal it doesn't mean that you have to use them it is a personal choice that a person should be able to make. cigarettes kill more people a year than steroids and yet there not illegal soley on the fact that it makes the gov. to much money in taxes.

If you say that taking steroids means that you are cheating, than i say you dont know how to play baseball. First off it is available to every single pro baseball player and more, also if you take steroids it doesnt mean your going to start cracking home runs every at bat because of the fact that you still need to have good hand eye coordination. plus if pro players do start to hit home runs at every at bat than the fences will just get pushed back another 100ft and than we'll begin to see longer hits, throws, and faster funners which basicly transforms the game to be more exciting.

The critics of steroid use love this subject, it's easy when the term carries so much weight that support for steroids to remain illegal is seldom needed. To the critics I ask, how many people have died as a direct result of steroid use? Does the medical community prescribe steroids to heal illnesses? How many people have died from alcohol consumption? How about high fruitcose corn syrup? OK so you get the point. What about the concept of fair play? should a wide receiver in football wear sticky gloves; I don't recall Lynn Swan, Steve Largent, and Lance Alworth wearing gloves. Was Lance Armstrong bike the same weight and make as Eddy Merckx, or his clothing, or tires? Are baseball bats, gloves and balls the same as they were when Hammer'en Hank played? Does steroids increase hand-eye coordination?

The chemical make up of hGH and EPO mimic chemicals that the body naturally produced by the body, making some steroids very hard to detect in test. So how do we know how uses them and who doesn't use steroids in all professional sports.

Athletes are paid millions to entertain, similar to A-List actors are actors tested.

I could care if a pro-athlete uses roids, my concern is an exciting game; especially for what it cost to go to one.

Steroids only make you bigger there is a certain one that makes you gain strength but all the big people are taking the one that makes them bigger at that case you still have to gain all the strength and hand eye coordination yourself and all you have already is the size.

Steroids are like super-charged vitamins and since athletes make plenty of money to afford them, then steroids should be legalized in Sports.
