Should a Christian country be allowed to ban gay marriage?
I am Christian and I say no. The Bible says its wrong and gay marriage is sin.

If a country is truly a Christian country, then it is at least to some extent, a dictatorship. By imposing religion on all those within its borders, it certainly has a lot of problems. But if it represents the Christian faith, and their interpretation of the faith is that gay marriage is wrong (which I don't think is directly said in the Bible), of course they are allowed to do this. However, if they do this, they should also probably be banning sex before marriage, mastrubation, adultery, not staying kosher, and every other one of the decrees in the bible. But I mean, Christian country, you do you. And then whoever wants to live there, go ahead. Side: Yes

No matter what our gender or persuasion we are human animals who should be equal under law so a religious institution should not be allowed to make any decision in law that affects humanity and it should not make any difference who we wish to marry if it is done because we want to commit ourselves to each other in love honour and respect Side: No
