YES.

Should a woman be able to deny access to the child if the father does pay child support? No.

But people who don't pay their child support are the worst. It's the child who suffers.

And I should also point out that I am in favor of men have equal rights as parents. Including with custody battles. So a man who has custody of a child should be aloud to deny access to a child if the mother doesn't pay child support.

Every situation is unique, and there isn't really a straight answer.

But I was assuming the guy just didn't want to pay it, and those aren't the values I would want to be communicated to my child as being okay.

So I agree that a woman should be able to, but she doesn't have to.

Child support should be a law, but people have problems that sometimes make it IMPOSSIBLE to pay it. is it really fair to say "you're poor, so you can't see your son".

Consider welfare queens who live off of the government for every child they have. If the father is too poor to pay child support, should he be denied his right to see his child even though the mother isn't paying for shit?

I think they're two different issues: the child support vs visitation rights. A good father should be able to see his child whenever the hell he wants to. If he's not paying his share of child support though, then that's the ex wife's job to take him back to court and handle the problem. But using the child as a scapegoat isn't going to solve crap. I mean, she really may as well be holding the child over a bridge saying she'll drop him if he doesn't her the $200 right NOW. It's absurd. And it's abuse.

only if she goes to court and the judge says that he is a danger to the child. if he just cant pay or something, then he should be allowed to see the child, but if he isnt bc he is using his money to buy drugs, then he shouldnt.
