Should animals be captured and be put in zoos?

People are saying the that zoo keepers should let animals out and back into the wild. Others say no. What do you say?

If you capture more than you can eat, zoos are a good place to keep the animals until you are hungry.

Hey :)

my wife's parents owned a zoo in Arizona for years. she grew up around it and worked every summer there while in Jr. And SR. High. She was actually studying to be a vet until she decided to go into elementary education. So anyways yeah she knows a ton about this stuff. She said one of the great myths about zoos is that people think, ohh! Poor animals! All caged up! Then wamnt to be Free!

Wrong. An animal in the wild spends every waking minute either hunting and trying to survive or trying to evade predators. It is usually a furtive and hostile and brutal existence. So the ones in zoos? The nevcer had it so good. All their needs are met. They never go hungry. They are not preyed on. They arew happy as clams. None of them would trade a freedom in the wilds if they could. This is provcen by documented facts of animals not even straying far away from their zoos when their cages or fences get breached.

The animals biggest predator and dangfer in zoos? People. You would cry at stories she told me of what people have done to animals.
