The children should be given monetary rewards for doing household works.Firstly it will teach the child money management which is very important to become a successful person in life. Secondly, it is an excellent example to show that for good works we get rewards and for bad works we get no reward. Thirdly, the child will be forced to perform that activity in greed of the money he will be getting for it.Then; it will add a financial responsibility to their life which will help them prepare for the future. I don't think children should be given money to do simple household chores. To give money would be spoiling, in my opinion. Household chores are BASIC and SIMPLE. They don't necessarily require that much effort on the child's part. A child SHOULD be doing basic household chores in order to HELP their parent(s) without any monetary rewards. In my case, I have two loving parents who have worked hard to raise me, paid all the bills, bought me things I've wanted etc. What kind of son would I be if I asked for money in return for a mere household chore? My parents are not exactly the richest in the world and their appreciation for me helping out with a chore is enough. Kids these days have access to all sorts of gadgets and I just think it's extremely selfish to ask for a monetary reward for something so minor. Side: No
