Should children be left alone
At what age is it Ok to leave a child at home alone. Is 10 to young. Is for 10 mins Ok but Two hours to much or is no time OK. Is this a form of neglect. Should the parents think its Ok to assume that someone else should take on the responsibility without being consulted. Is work a good enough excuse. And who should do the disciplining of these children.

Clearly, the children's age, the time for which they're left alone, the child's maturity/level of responsibility, et cetera are huge factors in this question. I babysit a kid who's 12; would my mother have left me alone at 12? Most certainly. Can Duncan, an ADHD off-the-walls kid, be safely left alone? Probably not. Side: No
