Well, it would be better if nuclear weapons didn't exist. Same with guns and disease. However, that isn't the case. To say that some countries can have a bunch of nuclear weapons but others can't is to say that some countries have a higher status than others. The United States and other Western nations should have no authority on telling what developing countries can do with their nuclear programs. If the UN wishes to police the world, it should do it properly. Either have every country get rid of their nuclear weapons or stop bitching every time Iran wants to expand its nuclear testing. Yes, we should. As much as nuclear weapons freak me out, I think that as long as we've had them thus far, they've simply worked as effective shields that prevented war. I think that all the countries that have nukes so far have perfectly good common sense, and as long as the doctrine of MAD is still valid, we should be fine. So in other words, a nuclear war is never going to happen, but we do still need that deterrent. Side: Yes

well if every country had nuclear weapons, then think about how easy it would be for terrorist groups and jihadists to get their hands on them. I don't think that every country should have nuclear weapons. There will always be people who say that its not fair for us to be stronger than say Syria, but artificial equality will eventually translate into the World State from a book called :Brave New World, by Aldous Huxley Side: No

I believe not...This will only lead to the ultimate demolition and demise of our very civilization. All civilization, ranging from the Western Hemisphere to Eurasia will be diminished. Unfortunately, this is the reality of the world; the countries that do not yet acquire nuclear weapons will inevitably develop some in the future. Side: No
Of course this nuclear armament race should be totally eradicated from this planet.Everybody knows the consequences of it and still they are building a stronger nuclear weapon system and i think developed countries have no right to bitch about Iran and north Korea, they already have huge stockpiles of nuclear weapons and they put sanctions on these countries to simply undermine them. Recently India did test of Agni-5 ( intercontinental ballistic missile) and it hardly received any criticism because of its proximity towards west. If west is really concerned about this nuclear armament race it should eliminate its nuclear weapon first . Side: No
Ok first off, if every country would have nuclear weapons and all, that would be the worst thing that would ever happen in the history of mankind. 1. Any country may use it for total domination, which is why it's a bad idea. We can't trust one another. 2. There are countries who actually want to eradicate all life in one country example: Israel vs. it's enemies. 3. A few countries have corrupt governments and possibly terrorists that would try and take the weapons to cause conflicts between countries. 4. The worst scenario is many innocwnt people would die if any nuclear war would happen. Side: No
I think the aim of using nuclear bomb in war is to avoid losing country's soldiers and resources what we can't say about suffering country. But if nuclear bomb is given for both sides, it lose the sense, both sides will suffer. So some could say it is unfair, but not all countries should have nuclear weapon. Side: No

I'm not entirely sure how PrayerFails thinks free markets would actually stop wars, I think it would make them worse. There is no good reason anybody should have a weapon capable of destroying an entire population. It's wrong to nuke someone, even if they have just fired one at you, why cause more deaths? If you think that having more nuclear weapons would somehow help the world, you clearly don't know what nuclear weapons are. Side: No
