Sure, why not! In fact, I think hotdog eating contests should be an Olympic sport!

Yes they should, we don't need Nanny States to tell us what we can or cannot do. People need to stop blaming everyone else for their bad choices and take personal responsibility for their vices... Whether it be food, drugs or alcohol.

Of course they should, and for a few reasons:

1) The Olympics need all the support they can get.

They don't need it especially because of the fact that the Olympics was an event that was struggling, on the contrary the Olympics has been a great, positive thing all over the globe. No, what I am saying is that the extra help won't go to waste.

The same rule would apply if you were holding a party and you wanted as many people as you could to come to it. The extra advertising from your friends (McDonald's) could really be useful for you. If such a thing is useful to you then why shouldn't they be allowed to help you. It doesn't matter how annoying your friend is, if they help you how can that possibly be a bad thing?

Extra help is always good.

2) It is discrimination to say they are not allowed to be sponsors.

If I have worked all of my life to make a fast-food chain, and the Olympics has been part of my dream throughout all of my years, then can you imagine how sad I would be if I was excluded from assisting my country as they host the Olympics based on the fact that what I sell, and what has been my life's work, is something that some people do not wholly agree with? Sounds pretty evil to me.

As well as this, it is discrimination to exclude someone from something just because they sell something that isn't necessarily desired by the entire world. Discrimination such as this is the equivalent of racism.

It is not good to discriminate against certain companies or groups based on their services to the country.

The NFL only cares about who is going to put up the money for those commercials.
