Of course!

Gifted children has thinking ways that are different from normal. They can be discriminated in the ordinary community and suffer trauma which can make their thinking ways worse

I was in the shitty-at-reading class and the good-at-math-here's-geometry class in elementary school. The sad thing is that they were in the same room.

In my school we did. We had classes based on ability, so the best people at maths ( or any core subject) were in the top set and the worst were in the bottom set.

I think it is correct to do this, because it is unfair on both the more gifted and less gifted. It is unfair on the less gifted because it could force them to go at a pace to fast and unfair on the gifted for the opposite reason. So both would end up suffering in their education.

Side: yes

I think it is a wise decision because gifted children can get bored with regular classroom instruction.

I think if your child is gifted they should be studying separately and together with others as to not seclude them for being different. Separating them could lead to superiority complexes and brash ego's. They should be allowed to use their gifts to help the less fortunate and be placed in positions to do that when they are young so they can develop the instinctual response to do it when they are older.
