Should kids be treated like grown-ups?

Are kids grown up?

Children should be children. You’ll have plenty of time to be an adult.

No. They are children, they don't have the knowledge or life experience to make wise choices. That doesn't mean that some adults don't act like children but we shouldn't put the pressures of an being an adult on a child.

they should not be treated like adults but also not kids they should be treated by how they should be treated like if a kid is super smart he should be able to start to be a scientist but if a kid is normal they should be treated normally

Kids are like a programmable blank disc.

1. If we treat them as equals, they'll grow up to treat everyone else as their equals.

2. If we treat them as some cute idiot creature, they'll grow up like that, dependant (especially on external validation)+ probably feel inferior sometime in their life.

3. If we treat them as geniuses, they'll grow up with the focus on the thought patterns which prefer to classify people as geniuses or idiots + probably feel superior sometime in their life.

So I would say it's probably the best to not have them as our own personal therapic bunny to get relief from our dull lives OR even treat them as grown-ups which they obviously aren't.

Simply treat them as a learning human which we all always are & get them ready as much as we can for their life & survival by giving them necessary knowledge & experiences.
