I think that the term "public property" refers to tax-funded, government-owned property (if in doubt, message the creator of the debate). Thus, the properties in question, in this debate, does not refer to a property owned by someone, but by the government. In a secular society, this should not be allowed as a secular government should not favour or even display support for one religion or religious group over another, regardless of the politicians' own personal religious convictions. However, I do agree with you that if the person owns the building and wants to put up religious symbols, we do not have the right to complain at all. Side: No

Umm where is the offence? If you don't show superiority of a religion above another then sure why not? But it depends what buildings you are talking about. If it is a mall then who cares? You might see the cross in the US or the Crescent and Star in UAE. So long you give the same right for other religious symbols to exist. Side: yes

If by public property you mean government "tax payer-funded" property, then my answer would be no. If tax payer money is involved, or government property is involved then the U.S.government cannot be seen as endorsing one religion of the others. Do what you want with your own time and money but leave my tax dollars out of it. Side: No
