so if it is not fair we are not just going to leave it like that...we are going to fight until it is fair. No matter what it takes we will want what is fair to all to happen. That is one thing Grow-uos should learn
Almost nothing about real life is fair. That is one thing that kids need to learn!! The sooner you learn it, the better. I did not spend years in college and thousands of dollars to earn my degree and teaching credentials so that I would have to wear a uniform because some snot-nosed kids who can't pull their pants up and/or cover up their cleavage don't think its "fair". I KNOW how to dress properly for my job, and I do. Furthermore, we DO have a dress code.
Meanwhile, somewhere in the world, children are starving.
As for things being fair or unfair, who are you that you deserve fairness? Or any consideration at all? The world is a horrible place, and the sooner you learn that the better off you'll be.
So if someone was to racially abuse you on the street, or fire you because you're gay, then your response would be "Grow-up world is unfair sometimes"?
I think they should because when i asked one they said that "they worked there and got paid so they didn't have to" then I thought to myself "hmm i work here don't i and i don't even get paid(I'm a student)" then i thought since i work here and i didn't get paid and I have to wear uniform then they should also have to wear uniform. Thats why i think teachers should have to wear uniform.
yeah i think they should, it's not fair that we have to be in uniform every day, but they get to wear there own clothes! and when we wear our own clothes we get moaned at!
If the children have to wear uniforms, then it is only fair that the teachers , and the rest of the staff have to wear them as well. If not then we shouldn't wear them....Just start up a big group of people to riot. =)
The teachers are not equal to the students, they are in a position of authority. Making them equal would encourage disrespect. Even if teacher's were put in uniforms it does nothing except make teenagers feel-better. Teachers do not benefit from buying uniforms since they have stopped growing unlike teens which must buy clothes on a constant basis sometimes. Also the gang thing etc....use the brain.
Using your logic, it is ok for the teachers to disrespect us just because we have to wear uniform. How about nobody wear it and we make school a more comfortable environment.
Teachers do not need a uniform but need a dress code. It is kind of different that teachers don't really have a dress code while all other jobs do. This is quite unfair towards a normal persons point of view. The dress code will be useful as teachers are not really evenly dresses. You should also address the make-up issue as some teachers put too much make-up on them.
Yes, all stuff all tutors even director of school must to wear the uniform. Because the clothes is the face of your quality works. The school it is the place where all students are learning and the place where represents a particular sets for student's way of following the examples from people who surround them in time when they are at school. Uniform helps to stimulate the definitely constant rules in schooling process. If the teachers start to wear the uniform at their workplace the students consequently start to esteem them more. They start to understand that the school it is the place where you need to follow the rules and especially to learn.
I think that teachers should wear uniform because they are not more special than anyone one else, so they should wear uniform because most the time they are wearing unsuitable clothes which we children ain't allow to wear.
I think they should have a similar dress-code. For instance, they should always wear their hair how the students must wear their hair, Wear smart clothing and keep in mind that if the students cant wear necklaces, neither can they. Tuck their shirts in... you get the idea.
Of course.its not fair for kids to only wear uniforms and the teacher get to show off there style and other things I'm not going to name. Like comeon I think that we should have a chance let the kids speck it's not far , and like our parents said share, give, and always give chances so at least let the teachers feel what we have to feel for pay Back and maybe they will let the kids wear normal clothes . So let me betcha sufferrrrr make me wear uniforms lol xD
.i disagreee with looking alike i dont want no fat ass teacher looking like me but i agree with themm having to wear school uniforms to maby not a reall school uniform but a prober dress code n'attt.
I believe some children would not see it as fair and i will be disruptive to the rule of wearing uniform. If they see the person they want to see wear it, more likely they will wear it. However, the lesson to be learned is to follow rules. If it doesn't kill you, just follow it. Rules can be a good thing.
teachers should also wear these silly uniforms ..... then they'll come to know how uncomfortable the uniforms are and why cant they wear uniform if we wear them too?
Of course! The grown-ups always say that wearing school uniform is a sign of respect to the school and also tells people which school r u from. Why can't the teachers wear school to show some respect and do this student -must-do stuff? Unfair!!!!
.i disagreee with looking alike i dont want no fat ass teacher looking like me but i agree with themm having to wear school uniforms to maby not a reall school uniform but a prober dress code n'attt.
Honestly I don't realise why its such a big deal to have uniforms. Because even if people add things saying. "what if they have vulgar language on it or rude pictures. why not make a code saying you cant have any swears or rude things on your shirts. It would be so much easier for everyone.
There are many pros, but my main point today is safety. If all the students, faculty, and instructors are dressed in a very similar manner, intruders would be so much easier to identify. I also think it could build a camaraderie. And yet another benefit could be financial. As we all know, our educators are grossly underpaid. This could be a money saver.
If all the students, faculty, and instructors are dressed in a very similar manner, intruders would be so much easier to identify.
I'm not sure. Couldn't an intruder simply get access to the school uniform and not be questioned at all? Obviously without a school uniform it is easy to enter the building, but then everyone will at least have the potential to be questioned. But if an intruder were to enter the building in the uniform, there is no way they would be questioned.
my uniform is what identifies me in school and also away from school like class trips or sports games, even just walking home after school. The thing is, why shouldn't the teachers at this school have uniforms too? Im not saying that they have to have identical uniforms to the kids, but at least something with the school logo on it because the teachers are part of this school too.
Students are always being watched whether they are in school or not and they can easily be recognised because of their uniform, not that that is a problem but I don't think it’s fair that all of the focus is on the students and not the actual role models of the school. The teachers.
At my school the teachers dress in house colours on sports days, but is that enough? Do they need to up their game and show more school spirit? Going to inter intermediate sport or other schools or even class trips, i think the teachers not only need to show school spirit but they also need to be able to be recognised as a teacher from their school and easy to find when needed and in emergencies.
By implementing the rule that teachers have to wear school uniform, it will put off the number of teachers who are currently teaching and those who have ambitions of becoming a teacher as not all teachers will want to wear school uniform since they have been wearing it as a student during their years of schooling. It will also worsen the problem especially if there is already a declining number of teachers in the teaching field.
I'm pretty sure that we don't have a shortage of teachers, considering that they had to lay off so many. Even before the recession, the teaching field had a lot of competition.
I don't know how private schools operate, but us public educators already have to comply with a much more strict dress code than students do. it seems like overkill.
no they should not. because teachers are supposed to be seen differently from students, they are not students. they should have different attire and it also gives them a form of respect as they are no longer governed by the so-called "school rules"
first of all i believe that if the teachers and faculty wear uniforms along with the student. the student then will not feel as though they are been punished or singled out. further more it may help the students to feel like they can better got to the school staff for help. it is away to show the students that the school is there for them and willing to go the distance to help them and that they understand and are there for them. right now teachers are seen differently but not in a good way, teachers right now get no respect and are consider the enemy. teacher all over the u.s are under attack by there students. it may also help to cut down on the ever growing problem of teachers sleeping with there students. the uniforms keeps the female students from being able to entice the teachers with there skimpy clothes. and the female teachers from wearing inappropriate attire to school from tempting and enticing the boys
.theyy actually are coss it aint fair thet we have to obide by the rules like no eating in classs but they can eat in class. atss just rubbing it inn. wee should all get treted the same. no special treatmenttt. take it your a teacherrr?????????????
Rules are for the benefit of the rule makers, no one else. Also the link I posted stated and described how there is no scientifically verified advantage to uniforms.
the main idea of wearing uniform is to show of students' sense of belonging and loyalty to a school. School teachers are definitely not confined by this principle because first of all, they are there to provide a service to the school, they ought to have the freedom to at the very least choose what they wanna wear. Second, teachers are free to resign anyway so why should they be confined by the dress code of the school that primarily aims to show belonging, unity and equality. Bringing me to my next point, teachers have authority over students, hence the intrinsic status inequality. All of which already defeat the whole purpose of making teachers wear school uniform.
No a teacher needs to be set out as different to the pupils, wearing a uniform the same as the students would encourage students to identify with figures of authority, and could lead to a break down in said authority.
.no they dont, taechers say that pupils aint allowed to wear there own clothes in case there is famillys out there who cant afford good clothes&the;children feel preassured about what they wear because they dont want people to laugh at them, but it could be the same for teachers so if they had a strict dress code then they would all get on fine,
Generally teachers don't feel pressured to look like other teachers...........and teacher's should have enough maturity to ignore childish laughter which is your life, not theirs.
And, yes teachers already have their own dress code. You wouldn't want to follow it either.
Although I can recognize enforcing school uniforms for students, teacher uniform is just necessary because they are professional, and they should be treated as such. Besides as a teacher, aren't they required to dress professionally.
no. by asking teachers to don school uniforms would somewhat "lower" them to the same level as their students. students may not respect their teachers as much.
and what's wrong with that? "lowering" to the same level as students is not a bad thing, what are you trying to say? students are not scum or anything so there is nothing wrong with them having to wear uniform! i think they should it's not fair how they think they can treat students they way they want! they are no better!
.i am withhh josiee on thiss one, we are all ament to be trated the samee so we should all have the same dress code. if we didnt have a dress code teachers could dress as they like witch may make pupils feel uncomfortable by the way they are dressed.
A school, government or any society really, couldn't exist without any levels of authority. By putting both teachers and students into school uniform you put them on the same level. Everyone is equal, I agree with you on that.
However, would you're saying is basically, everyone is equal in everything - wrong. It's like saying a person with 20 years of experience working as a doctor is equal with a person who did a first-aid course 2 years ago, when it comes to medicine. It's like placing 10 year olds in the government and leaving them in charge of the taxes. We need structure.
By putting both teachers and students in school uniform, you are blurring the lines of control and authority. Not good. In business, a tall structure almost always works best. There's a reason for that.
no way never what were you thinking I'd hate to see my mom in a school uniform for teachers(she teaches my class too) that'd be verrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyy embarassing
Teachers shouldn't need to wear a uniform because they already have a uniform. There uniform would be like dresses (For the women) on normal days and pants on sports days. If they also wear uniforms they may not feel comfortable in them 'non' like us we already are used to them. So i think teachers shouldnt wear uniforms~Mishy.
school uniforms rare for students to prevent them from wearing gang shirts, not dressing properly ' wearing shirts with vulgar words and emblems etc.and i think uniforms make students smart and distinguished. and i don't think teachers want this as they wear disciplined dresses and they wore uniforms in their schools and know its significance.so no teachers shouldn't have to wear school uniforms.
Whoa. What the hell, man? School teachers wearing uniforms? No way! The reason why we students have to wear school uniforms is to bring the poor and the rich to the same level but mainly to signify unity. Not unity as in brotherhood type, lol. But uniforms are there to show that these guys are from that school and are united in the purpose of learning something.
But for teachers? Why would they have to wear uniforms? They are different from us in every way because they are there to teach, and make us learn. I mean, for God's sake, you really don't want an obese teacher wearing a skirt, do you? However, that is precisely why, I admit, a dress code must be present.
If teachers have to wear school uniforms and teachers dispute this then the number of teachers would decrease even further until a point of no return...
No - it would get rid of any authority they have over the children. Children won't be seeing teachers as people they should respect. I would pity the teachers so much.
Of course they should not and dont have to. As children they have also worn them and it will be a rather funny scene. Uniforms help children have unity. They also make us look like good, recognized children of good schools. Uniforms help develop personality.Uniforms are a must to students but not to teachers.
I disagree, just because you have gone through something uncomfortable doesn't mean other people should too, in fact it should be motivation to be sure no one else has to experience it. Secondly, wouldn't a shared interest bring you closer to other students (like a favorite musician or tv show) rather than simply dressing exactly alike. Lastly, taking away a young persons right to experiment with styles and express themselves through clothing does not develop personality.
