I would love to be able to help all the stray cats around my house. But there are sooooo many and of course none of them are fixed. So they keep reproducing and adding to the stray population. They are very skinny and obviously starving. I do what I can to help, but I have a family to support. I also have 2 dogs and 3 cats of my own to buy food, litter, and provide vet care for. If I could afford to have the strays spayed/neutered, I would pay for it myself. But I can't. I wouldn't want to see them put to sleep, but at the same time, I hate to see them suffer. I don't understand why people don't get their pets fixed. The whole situation is really heartbreaking. If anyone has any suggestions on how to solve this problem, please let me know. Side: YES! I agree that we should put dependent stray animals to sleep, because they and their children are likely to suffer if they live. The stray animals are better dead than alive to suffer. This is because the primary purpose that stray animals live is for physical well being. Most stray animals probably can't obtain adequate physical well being without attention of people. Therefore, life would be purposeless to them. In addition, allowing stray animals to live also leads to the multiplication of their population. The identical situation of inability to obtain adequate physical well being faces their children. We should put stray animals to sleep to prevent them and their children from such suffering. I don't blame people who think of putting stray animals asleep. The most reasonable reason why is because the animal may or may not be vicious. What if you woke up and say a tiger in your house, the first thing is that you want that animal dead. I think like that but i also know that it is wrong! What if you were the animal, you would not be shot. And yes, you would be scared knowing that you are somewhere you don't know. You will want shelter, food, and love. It depends on what you need though. So it is wrong because i don't want to be put to sleep. Side: NO! DONT BE CRUEL!

I don't think animals should be put to sleep. Would you want to be put to sleep? Just because they are stray doesn't mean they deserve to be put to sleep. They deserve for someone to try to help them not someone thats just going to kill them. that's horrible. You wouldn't do that to a person...would you? Side: NO! DONT BE CRUEL!
stupid animals are you serious? the other side of opinions are just useless no animal should be put to sleep big or small what's the difference is that really gonna stop you from loving a stray animal in need!?! they need someone to love its wrong to put animals to sleep!:D Side: NO! DONT BE CRUEL!
