I think the system where I go is good. We have some classes that are required, and other classes you can choose yourself if you want to have them, and then there is the third kind, where it is kind of a this or that choice. The required classes are always math, english and our native language and classes like that. The classes you can choose yourself are other languages like french, spanish or german and chemistry, biology and other science related classes. ''This or that'' classes, as we call them, is when you get two choices and you have to choose one. Like Sports or Music. Side: I am For

yes, absolutely yes. Because there are literally some subjects that don't spark the interest of a given student at all, beside that, there is also the issue of injustice: you see, not everyone are alike and you can't demand that everyone gets tested in the same thing disregarding their level of intelligence and creativity. it's similar to gather different kinds of animals, let's say for example: an elephant, a giraffe, a monkey and a lizard, then ask them to climb a tree. It's unfair for the elephant and the giraffe. I'm absolutely, 100% for choosing your own subjects, because when you choose something, you probably like it, and when you like something, you'll excel at it, because you do it with passion and you're not forced to do it. Yes, I'm with youThere are levels for student , and the student's right to choose subjects for the academic level for them self ,for example, good student will choose the difficult subjects while poor student will choose the easy subjects and olso both of them must teach core subjects Side: I am For

not every one loves studying the same subjects. We have different prefers and tastes in everything in our lives and that`s what makes us special. for example :I love Maths but I hate P.e. So when contribute on something we can be good in it is way better than living the life with no purpose ^^ Side: I am For

Yes, students should be allowed to choose the subjects they want to study to a certain extent. Allowing students to choose their own courses can provide several benefits. It can help to increase student engagement and fnf motivation as they are studying topics that they are interested in. This can lead to better academic performance and success. Side: I am For

This proposed question is not specific enough. At what level of education are you talking about? No, children in elementary school should not be able to pick what they study. An eight year old shouldn't be able to devote his studies to making a paper airplane that he can fly to the moon on. Every student should be given a proper education on general things, ie: English, math, geography, history, foreign language/culture (not to upset 'patriots', just enough to know when a foreigner is mocking you) and so on. Once a (better than current) standard general education is established a student should be able to choose their course of study. Also a technical trade course of education should not be looked down upon. After completing the general education requirements, I would support a version of apprenticeship for people wanting to learn a specific trade. Side: I am Against

No, it's difficult to give students the freedom to choose the subjects they'd like to study. They may choose far fetched subjects that may not be of any help to them in their lives. school subjects should be selected and decided upon by educationalists as they are the most knowledgeable in the field of education. they would know which subjects fit better with which age.
