Should the loser of the U.S., election show some 'statesmanship' and bow out gra

So far the election looks like a close run thing.
In my opinion the onus will be on the loser to try to unite the nation by accepting the outcome of ''the people's vote'' gracefully and calling on the opposition's supporters to fall in behind the new President and help to push against the negative issues facing everyone in America.

Yup! And the winner should take his win with grace and dignity too.

Both members should do all they can to try to unite our country and show support for the other.

Well said there Mint-tea, let's hope the two contenders adopt your voice of reason and recognize the absolute necessity to put America and all its people above party politics.

During this campaign it seemed to me that neither contestant had the best interests of their nation at heart but were absorbed with their own over inflated egos.

Donald Trump is, in my opinion an unfit for purpose President but should Biden be successful, and it looks as though he will be, his side kick, Kamala will very quickly take the reins and have the U.S., on its knees with illegal immigrants in no time at all.

This election seemed to offer two choices;- one was to opt for disease and deadly civil unrest and the other to lay the foundation for the inevitable break up of United States and the instantaneous flight of those wealth/job creating American corporations to other, more politically stable nations and the ensuing desperate poverty.

LET'S HOPE THE ELECTORATE CHOOSE WISELY.

No one likes to lose but if the runner-up of this, very dirty competition continues to keep the pot boiling the real loser will be all the American people.

UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL.

Let's have a UNITED United States of America day when everyone can temporarily forget their partisan politics and come together as one nation for good of all.

No, the loser should further divide the nation by refusing to accept the result of this democratic election just as the Democrats did in 2016 and continue to do so to this day.

This way the U.S., can continue to entertain the rest of the world with its, very colourful, Hillys vs the Billys type self destructive mud slinging.

HE WHO THROWS MUD LOSES GROUND.

It looks as though the mischievous agitators will have a field day here as such a closely contested battle will make for the perfect breeding ground for the rabble-rousing filth of both sides to incite the less intelligent sections of their supporters to engage in civil unrest and violent clashes.

IT'S TIME FOR THE YANKS TO WAKE UP AND SMELL WHAT IT IS THEIR POLITICAL LEADERS ARE SHOVELING.
