I believe there is much to be gained by Bringing back extinct animals, especially in the interests of protecting biodiversity and research. As far as the Jurassic Park angle goes? Utterly ridiculous. Even if we could get enough intact DNA from fossils, What idiot would try it, especially with such ignorance and ill preparation as exhibited in the movie? Side: yes

They are gone for a reason, let nature take it's course. Unless the reason they are gone is 100% human intervention which is causing major indirect damage to an ecosystem. However reintroducing animals to an ecosystem that has already adapted to their absence will be just as destructive as an invasive species would be. Thats a rare case considering most of the species that have ever lived are now extinct. I say let natural selection take its course, its just the arrogance of humans trying to control nature, nature changes, let it be. Side: No
I agree. But I was thinking of another kind of ending... As greedy as we (humans) are we would keep bringing back animals and more animal and... at a certain point we might have brought back certain dangerous animals/creatures such as dinossaurs. And at some point this playground could accidentaly collapse and we'd be facing more than we could hope to defeat. Side: No
