Should we have a one world government?
I think we should because it would be more effective in handling global affairs and it could do so many things a national government couldn't do. I understand many people oppose it but if we structure the world government as democratic and not totalitarian then perhaps it could be a viable idea to consider.
well those people who believe in conspiracies think there already is a secret all powerful world government. like the Bilderbergs or some other Oligarchy. And that guy Dave Icke thinks it's lizard men. From space! Anyway I'm not a favor of one single world government but I think it's getting to be that way, we're on that track. at lest with the Big nations that count and have all the power and money. The book of Revelation predicted all this of course.
A world leader will rise with the false promise of bringing peace. The world is setting up for that dictator now, it's obviously all falling into place exactly as the Bible foretold thousands of years ago.
Yes we should have a one world government with God Himself on the throne. God promises He will rule the world as the Son of God, Jesus Christ. Before Jesus rules the world in righteousness, A false messiah of peace will be the world dictator, he will be the anti-Christ, of the same spirit which now works in the children of disobedience.......that means most of you kids hear.
What about a multi-tiered system, like most countries already have? Municipality, county, state/province, federal, continental, executive. Something like that.
Who said it had to be one person? What about an executive council, made up of continental leaders, and a "cabinet" that fills positions like logistics, economics, science and more?
That also makes sense, however,what kind of government would it be. There are lots of varied governments, democracies, socialists, communists, totalitarians. All the countries in the world could never agree on what kind of government it is.
Economically, I suspect that it would be similar to what Bernie Sanders has proposed: Mostly capitalist, but with more socialism than America currently has. It allows for reasonable efficiency in the economy but also helps those in need. It's the most practical system currently in use and has benefited much of Europe over the decades.
As far as actual government structure, only royal monarchies would be disallowed. And they could continue on, just have no real power. Other forms (except dictatorships, presumably) could still function in more or less the same way as long as they can be integrated into the overall system.
Overall, I think the development would take over a century. Say, the EU actually becomes a united government. Then say, US and Canada join. This would give all participating countries a huge economic and military advantage. More and more countries would join to take part in the benefits. Eventually, it should get to a point where countries that didn't join would have an increasingly difficult time surviving on their own, and joining would almost guarantee an impressive increase in quality of living. The people would demand it, no matter how the leaders felt. And even the leaders would probably stand to gain a lot.
There will be a worldwide government under a dictator who will come to power promising peace......and not long after, it will be like Hell breaking loose on earth.
The rulers of this world want to destroy most of the world population, and they will seem to be getting what they want through the world dictator......until Jesus comes back to Earth and overthrows that dictator.
The Muslims are pushing for this scenario as they believe a world wide blood bath is required before their Messiah will return. Russia and China are making their alliances with Muslim nations in preparation for the big wars that are coming. There will be a world government under a dictator promising peace, and it will be a short term peace.
Yes we should have a one world government, with Jesus Christ as the KING of all Kings......and He will reign forever and ever.
Well, Jesus Christ is God and He is going to rule the world from Mt. Zion and will overthrow all of the corrupt governments of the world. If you don't think God can rule His world, or you don't like the way He rules His world, you probably won't want to be here.
The world dictator who is coming will demand that all people worship him as if he were God. If you live long enough, you are going to be under a theocracy....by a false god, the anti-Christ.
God is still on His throne, He still rules over all of Creation including you. You would be wise to seek and be sure of having His mercy. If you insist you don't need it, enjoy yourself while you can.
Ummmm, God is in control, and Jesus is coming back and He will rule the world from Mt. Zion. Jesus is God. If you don't like His theocracy, you are going to spend eternity in Hell.
