It pissed me personally off because when black people or any race is protesting and hurting our country for a reason of just not excepting them. That's when I get pissed, why should we make it harder to except them by making racial awards. Why should you get an award based on your skin color that's not excepting. White people don't have awards based on their skin color, neither do Japanese, Chinese, native Americans. Side: No we shouldn't it's racist
Any social group has a right to give awards to it's own social group. What they don't have a right to do is to take a field wide open to everyone who participates and then rig it so that only certain social groups can get them and others don't. If it's a black award then it's not wrong to give it to blacks. If it's a women award then it's not wrong to give it to women. If it's an acting award but 99.99% of the time whites get the award even though various minorities make up more than .01% of the participants then something is fishy with how the award is being chosen. Of course it's racist. Can you imagine the outcry if there were any ''white only'' institutions which only issued awards to whites. The only dispassionate interpretation of the ''Black Awards'' raw racialist affront is that it is willfully provocative and a rather childish poke at whites. Apart from the indisputable racist nature of this violation of America's race relations acts of, 1968, 1976 and the amendment of 2000, it is akin to disabling the competition so the winners can only be black. When analysed objectively and without prejudice it really is quite laughable in a weird sort of a way. Side: No we shouldn't it's racist

Hello A: All that would be true IF black Americans arrived on our shores like your white ancestors did.. But, they didn't.. They came over CHAINED up in the belly of slave ships.. I remember seeing taylor swift taking more black entertainment awards than any black musician on that show that day. I remember when michael jackson wasn't given grammy because he was black. And a particular reason why Nas, 2Pac and Notorious B.I.G never got grammy while they dominated the charts till ever. Grammy was made for all humans. As at the time it was made, blacks weren't in the list of regard of 'humans'. Since the black man's talent wasn't appreciated, he set up an award meant for only his kind. Now they call it racism. Ok everyone is saying it's ok, but imagine if white people pulled that same card. It would not be ok why are we giving privileges to black people when they want to be excepted and want no racism. This just brings it out more it pisses people off because no other race can pull off what the black community has done. Side: No we shouldn't it's racist
