At this point, it would be very foolish to remove nuclear weapons unless all nuclear weapons could be removed from existence. If we could do that I would be in favor of such an action because of the devastation posed by nuclear technology, but that scenario is unrealistic. Side: Yes
With so many unstable regimes scrambling to develop ''the bomb'' it would be an act of criminal negligence to abandon our nuclear capability. Of course there are fools who expect the U.S, to meet the expense of the western deterrent alone and protect us poor wee Brits., from the big bad boys of the nuclear club, which will soon include the religious hot heads in Iran.
