Should we raise the price of junk food and lower the price of healthy food?
As a means of cutting down on peple being obese. Since they'll eat junk food if it's cheaper but if the prices of it are raised and the price of healthy foods are lowered do you think it would help? What are your opinions?

People would be like "oh sht I can't afford to eat this much junk anymore. It's puttin a big ol'hole in my wallet." and depending on the rate by which it's increased the people who sell junk food will either benefit or stay the same. But with healthy food it maybe different. The same people who dislike the healthier food are probably still going to dislike it so any places that sell healthier foods are going to suffer due to the lowered cost. Maybe...depends on the rate of decrease. Side: No because...

People won't start eating salad just because their favorite snicker is now 8 dollars. They'll just be pissed off buying that 8 dollar snicker's bar before we have another Boston tea party. The only reason the government gets away with over taxing cigarettes is because the people who smoke are so few, and so unmotivated that the chances of them revolting are practically none. Also forgot to add, people who sell junk food, they won't stop selling junk food, they'll find ways to turn a profit, meaning if no one is buying enough healthy food to turn a profit, people are getting laid off until their losses are minimal.
