Being Jewish is now as bad as killing 6 people? If being Jewish can be considered bad enough, couldn't believing in anything get you to that level. Why shouldn't we do testing on people who think criminals should be tested on? Those people are just as bad as the Jews.
that is an evil thing to say, if you take someones life the punishment should be your life, not torture, and before you say its not torture i would think long and hard about that, because it IS torture to test someone
I dont agree with animal testing either, but torturing someone does NOT fit the crime, and even so, even if they DID terrible things, torture is the absolute most worst evil thing you can do to someone
If the crime is horribly bad and they are definitely guilty, then why not? They have obviously shown complete disregard for other humans; so why should they still be treated as humans?
When I say "horribly bad" crimes, I mean tough stuff like child molestation and mass murder. If the crime is something simple like robbery or perhaps a single murder, regular punishment is enough.
This is similar to donating organs/blood transfusions.
The person should volunteer to be tested in place of the animal; they should definitely NOT be forced to. That's just wrong. Criminals have rights too, you know. They're still humans, no matter how big their crime is. I sure hope there are people out there with hearts kind enough to sacrifice themselves for animals...
Setting aside whether persons sentenced to death deserve to be protected from involuntary testing, crossing the boundary into involuntary human testing with any population is inadvisable. It creates a dangerous precedence of exception to an absolute rule, and it does so within an imperfect legal system. The potential of extended abuse beyond this particular context far outweighs the benefits of testing on death row inmates.
As a side-note, I find it curious that the author of this debate proposes to test only on death row inmates and not the prison population generally.
Not for old death row people but for the next that do commit a crime will because if the law starts it then it will just apply for new people so that when new people want to commit a crime will have that in mind to.

A woman's body is her property. She has the right to use her property as she sees fit. If she does not want something attached to her property, that is her right. The US Constitution verifies this.

Yeah, that sounds nice, except religious people should have the same power to govern themselves based on their beliefs that atheists/liberal christians do. How many conservatives are suing liberal states that have voted to allow gay marriage? None. How many liberals are suing conservative states to try to force them to have gay marriage? I think all of them. This country was designed so various beliefs can come together and form a strong country. You should be able to have your cake and eat it too... But coexistence has been under attack for decades.

What do you call one of her friends spreading a false rumor that I committed suicide/ What do you call setting me up on false allegations and having me thrown off of a site where all of my friends are? What happened to bear not false wtiness, do unto others, and love your neighbor as your self? I see no love coming from the conservative Christian Church and you will probably put all of the on me, say its my fault and throw out some random ad hom attack. I have had better times with liberals than conservative, much love to my conservative friends.
Well I am sorry that happened to you. But I really cant answer for every wrong done by every conservative in the world.... I would have to write a book just on myself! A cornerstone of Christianity is acknowledging that people are far from perfect.

Whilst it is tempting to argue that some of the scumbags in prisons should be the subject of experiments, it is a measure of how we are as a civilisation that we do not do such things. If we truly value human life and are better than some of the nations that would practise such things, we'll refrain from testing on prisoners.
