To a degree (as long as we're talking about in the USA with Constitutional rights). They should be allowed free speech. They should be allowed peaceful assembly to exercise that free speech. The to a degree part is that speech doesn't allow them to resort to violence, or to threaten violence, or to deny the Constitutional rights of someone else (meaning they can't refuse to hire someone based on their intolerance). The problem with this in the case of the United States is that it becomes a contradiction and useless mixing of terms. Conservatives see Islam as intolerant, because the Quran is intolerant, and Islamic extremism is intolerant and because they see Muslims genociding non-Muslims all across the Middle East by the hundreds of thousands while they cover their women up and herd them around like animals. And because Conservatives do not "tolerate intolerance" from Islam, now the left says they do not "tolerate Conservatives' intolerance". And then the left here has started using violence to shut down Conservative speakers by saying "we do not tolerate intolerance". And then the right counters by saying that the left is intolerant and elects Donald Trump to counter because he's not politically correct and stands for free speech. It becomes a mindless maze of word salads and buzz words by the time you get to the end, and everyone is claiming to not tolerate intolerance. This abstract "we do not tolerate intolerance" from each other is going to cause a war, plainly put. And finally you have the militant left and the militant right going around killing anyone or using violence on each other as they both declare their intolerance of the others' intolerance. Side: No

Conservatives see Islam as intolerant, because the Quran is intolerant American Conservatives are intolerant toward Islam because the vast majority -- just like you -- are raging Christian hypocrites who believe in all the same fairy tales, have the same history of violence, but who have religious reasons for hating Muslims which date back to the Dark Ages. The problem is that neo-Christian hypocrites like you have the power to abuse language and reason. They own the Middle East and North Africa, a stretch of land far bigger than Europe, because of invasions and conquests. If we use your logic, without Muslim intolerance on 9/11, there would have been no invasion or retaliation. Sadaam Hussein was also gassing and using chemical weapons on his own people. I liked Popper, and he made a fine point here. I find that the arguments being put forward by the American right have become progressively more ridiculous the further to the right they have moved. I feel they are now at the stage of demonstrable lunacy and need to be stopped. I have felt that way from the moment I heard the first of them stand up and arbitrarily reject centuries worth of climate study. Side: No
