Socialism means the government controls everything.

In socialism, there are two classes of people; slaves and government officials. It's the most stratified and undemocratic shit ever.

Libs say ignorant crap all of the time. Marxist Theory, Lenin, Hegel, nor the dictionary describe socialism in the way they attempt to describe it.

Paying into the system, then getting it back in some form later is a subcontext of trade within Capitalism.

Our social programs are funded by capitalism.

Socialism means the government produces all income methods and services. The individual owns nothing, and only gets what the government rations to you at its own will at its own whim, with property and funds that only it owns.

Me owning property, paying into a system that yields back, and having a fire department funded by people with private property is the opposite of socialism. It's capitalists who own private property agreeing to funds being alotted to defense. We can even privatize the system, and many have, all without any federal government involvement. Not even almost socialism.

Democrats describe a system where no one owns property as a system where people own property and choose what to do with it, which is Capitalism.

We have been living in a democratic socialist country for YEARS! The government "controls" a few things like, NASA and military bases, etc. but NOT everything! Much of Europe is democratic socialist and there it is the same! If it's communistic socialism the government owns YOU!

In a democracy the "government" is OF, BY and FOR the people, so what it controls IS controlled BY the PEOPLE. NO way you can change that unless you give up your democracy whether you use a socialistic economic system OR NOT!

The conservatives have spread a picture of socialism and linked it to communism. It can be "linked" to about any political system. Bernie is NO commie!

We have been living in a democratic socialist country for YEARS

Easily debunked. Socialism means the government controls all production. It controls none.

Many Presidents lost the popular vote, which is in no way democracy. This is a republic.

Bernie is NO commie!

He attended a USSR kibbutz and openly quotes Marx, Alinsky, Lenin, and Hegel.

(CNN) A small collective community in northern Israel, modeled after the communist ideals of the Soviet Union, may hold clues to the development of U.S. presidential candidate Bernie Sanders' political beliefs.

Sanders is Jewish and a self-described "democratic socialist." In the 1960s, he spent several months volunteering on an Israeli collective farm, or kibbutz, that functioned according to communist principles.
