Stupidity warnings
WARNING
"TO AVOID DANGER OF SUFFOCATION, KEEP THIS PLASTIC BAG AWAY FROM BABIES AND CHILDREN. DO NOT USE THIS BAG IN CRIBS, BEDS, CARRIAGES OR PLAYPENS. THIS BAG IS NOT A TOY."
Ignoring that these warnings are to prevent lawsuits;
Are these type of warnings on products really a good idea.
Is society going to be a better or worse place if people who don't know to not give a baby a plastic bag are allowed to reproduce and raise a child?
Please look at the big picture, not just a particular instance.

Stupidity Warnings are bad because it short circuits Darwinism. Stupid people were meant to die off. Not survive and propagate. Why are we helping stupid people survive? We should tie them up and crazy glue their nostrils and lips closed ;) http://i0.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/

If the kid gets the bag because the parents are dumb then that's the parents fault but the kid pays the ultimate price, and the parents just get to live in a cushy jail cell. These stupidity warnings are not to protect dumb people from being imprisoned or from suing the companies (not entirely) they're to give children who can't yet think, a chance to live and become intelligent maybe one day. More intelligent than the parent who thought a plastic bag would be a fun toy for a kid to use. Side: Worse
I intelligence is composed of both environmental factors e.g. how much and what quality education; and also genetic factors. I know this fact is taboo but some people are inherently more intelligent than others. Although everyone can become more intelligent through education; everyone has a limit to how intelligent they can become written in their DNA. By allowing people who don't know not to give a baby a plastic bag to reproduce, you are lowering the average potential intelligence of the human species. Side: Worse

I'm aware some people are more intelligent, just how some people have more of a will to learn. That kid that could get suffocated, could have a great will to learn and be one of the next generation's Einsteins but he won't have that chance just because his parents are too stupid to not realize babies shouldn't play with bags. The will to learn is more important than any natural intelligence, because honestly anyone can learn anything, if they just try. Me personally, I would rather give that kid a chance than let it succumb to the way of nature because of bad genes. Side: Worse
