Supermarkets should only sell food produced from within their own country rather than
Ok. But what can you say about food industry? If a country has no choice, except selling its own products, it will have to develop the way of food production. This includes: building new factories so new places for a work will be opened, people will be able to earn money and feed others. 1

Yes, America would be able to survive easily because we produce nearly all of the world's food. All the country's that rely solely on us, like Europe, will starve and die like they deserve to. Then America will remain forever as the best country in the world! "America would be able to survive easily because we produce nearly all of the world's food." Your link makes no sense, the statement is poppycock anyway. "All the country's that rely solely on us, like Europe, will starve and die like they deserve to." Europe produces more food than America does. "Then America will remain forever as the best country in the world!" I like how the whole of Europe has to die before America is the best country in the world. Therefore, you're saying that every European country is better than America. 1

Not really, you're thinking too much in global terms. If the food markets only applied nationally then the Sigmund Freud Theory suggests that after a few decades there would be a lot more equality amongst nations (As shown here where the circle represents levels of inequality in wealth and the quadratic line represents international food trade, using omnigraph) 1
