Right. Except we tried that with prohibition of drugs, alcohol, and prostitution, and not only are all three of those industries thriving (or did in the time it was illegal, in the case of alcohol), they're unregulated and run by people with no respect for the law and little inhibition to introduce violence in the industry to secure their place in the market. I don't like what meth does to people, but I'd rather it come from a pharmaceutical company than a cartel that's willing to kill journalists, elected officials and mules to have their product distributed by street gangs. I'd rather prostitutes are hired willingly and not obtained through human trafficking and kept in opioid slavery. What industry, exactly, are you looking at illegalizing? Side: It should not be
