TEENAGERS SHOULD HAVE A SAY IN CHOICES MADE BY THEIR PARENTS FOR THEM

A LOT OF TEENS DO NOT HAVE A SAY IN WHAT HAPPENS IN THEIR LIVES

They should. The problem comes when teens think their parents should shut up and listen!, and THEIR SAY should be the ONLY one! (Which happens all too often)! The parent has sole responsibility (in most cases), and THEIR SAY should be #1. Again, in most cases, what you do reflects on them, what you do can cost them dearly, what you do can cost them YOUR life, their happiness, their home, their marriage, your siblings happiness .... JUST LISTEN! (For your OWN good, as well as theirs)!

They should be able to express their opinion on any issue which affects them, providing they accept and abide by their parents final decision.

Sure they should have a say, and if they provide a sound and logical argument to get what they want the decision may sway to their side however the end result is up to the parents.

LMMFAO teenagers provide a sound and logical argument under a roof that they don't pay for.

What your party has done is hang their hat on teenagers because that's the best you can do to try and save your party there Jewel

TEENS SHOULD HAVE A SAY IN THE CHOICES PARENTS MAKE FOR THEIR CHILDREN BECAUSE IF THE CHILD FAILS AT THE END THEN THE PARENT IS TO BLAME SINCE THE CHILD NEVER HAD A SAY IN THE CHOICES THEY MADE AT ALL

Under carefully defined circumstances, yes, but ONLY if the parents want to.

In general, no. The parents/guardians of anyone under 18 years old are legally responsible for the actions and safety of the minor, and are financially liable for any damage the kid does, so minors should have no say in anything that includes any legal or financial risk.

"As long as you live under my roof, you obey my rules."

People of ANY age should only have a say in choices made about their lives ONLY TO THE EXTENT THAT THEY PAY FOR THEIR LIVES.

A teenager that has no job and brings no money into the family should have no say in any choices made by their parents for them. "As long as you live under my roof, you obey my rules."

Teenagers who work to earn the money to support themselves should get to contribute to the decisions their parents make for them.

Other teens should obey their parents, or go pay for their own place and THEN they can live by their own rules.

By the same token, "adults" (over 18) who do not earn the money to pay their own bills should get no say in the decisions about their lives.

- If you are 27 and living rent-free in your parent's house, and paying for nothing other than the video games you play, then put down the controller, and do what you are told.

- If you are 21 and anybody but you earned your college tuition, then your major should be whatever the person who pays your tuition chooses. Shut up and study. Parties, safe spaces, and self-righteous outrage are only for people who pay all their own bills.

-If you are 40 years old and supported by any welfare program, stop pretending you are an adult. If the taxpayers say go pick up trash by the side of the road, do it. Gratefully.
