THW implement sex education in all High School levels

The Government in this motion wanted to legalize sex education worldwide as it would be better for these teenagers to be aware and warned about this type of learning.

The Opposition in this motion doesn't like or disagree with this because the children, specifically teenagers, will be ignorant in applying this education in their real lives and this might cause some serious problems.

Please comment and put your arguments. Thank you. Cool

Sex Education is a needed tool in society inorder to curb many of the social problems that we are already facing. Those who oppose the idea of sex education in schools do so because of traditional or religious reasons but we cannot try to hide from teenagers what they already know. They are in a state whereby they experiment with their sexuality and we as a society need to educate them and warn them. We need to help them understand the concepts of responsibilities that is attached to having sexual intercourse. Teaching teenagers about sex will help in the fight against abortion, STDA/STIS, teenage pregnancy and school dropouts. It is evident that sex can be learnt anywhere; on the internet, from friends, television, magazines, etc so we need to educate these teens because they are still going to have sex anyway. It is a natural human instinct.

Sex education has become a trend all over the world over the past decade. Such kind of education provides students with the knowledge they should know about sex. Although students can decide whether or not to take part in this programme, the programme doesn't mean to be a pointless one. We do know that such sort of education is necessary for nurturing our future pillars to be healthier in terms of their physical and psychological health. So why don't we give it a try first?

the opinions may differ and the answer is debatable.in general a correct knowledge bout reproductive organs, adolescence related changes, std's etc will save the young minds frm myths and misconceptions bout sex related aspects and help them to lead a reproductively healthy life:P

I believe with all certainty that schools SHOULD teach teenagers about contraception. This safeguards against them being taught nothing at home, although the school should not engage itself into the moral debate.

If for instance, A teenagers parents had never discussed sex. Friends, the internet, and the tv teach him about it, and when he decides to go through with it, his girlfriend gets pregnant because they have no idea how to use a condom.

Even some basic sex ed can be unsatisfacoty. For instance, did you know that eating fries before sex without washing your hands can make that condom USELESS? It may as well not be there, because the oil erodes the latex. If you don't get taught that, how can you expect to know?

We are talking about the implementation of this curriculum as an additional information of learning to HIGH SCHOOL students. We all know that sex education is being taught to COLLEGE students which is common to most of the countries around the world. So what can you say about that?

Implementation of further sex education for High School level students is just an extend of the version of the secondary level, which provides them with additional information as well as moral value that they might lack opportunity to reach at secondary schools. Besides this, several advantages brought about by this change just as other debaters have said are already enough for us to take it.

As High school is normally the level of education at which people begin to have sex, we cannot conceive as to what you seek to accomplish by pointing out the above.

We all know that sex education is being taught to COLLEGE students which is common to most of the countries around the world.

That fact has no bearing whatsoever on the premise.

So what can you say about that?

The above.

Sex education sould only be at two levels: 1. Parents and 2. Self.

Why should government being

Government is the last entity the public should trust in sex education.

Lack of time, knowledge and improper attitude towards sex of both parents and students should be the answers to why the government has to intervene. The government doesn't have to build public housing, giving out allowance, subsidies for the poor. It could let them struggle under the so-called free market system. But we do know that that's not right. They are supposed to live better, deserving the helping hand from both the government as well as charities. So they are granted help. And this is just the same when comes to providing sex education for High School level students, who might need and deserve the knowledge about moral, sex and other relevant information.
