Talent Vs Hardwork; Does Hardwork really pays up?

As humans, weve always been on a quest to find our strenghts and to know what we are good up. And think to ourselves that it is what we are meant to do. However, not everyone is so lucky to find their meaning. If you do not have talent, is hardwork really sufficient to match up with people who has been gifted?

With hardwork you can achieve great amounts of success. You can probably match a gifted person as well. Just like in sports. Some people are born with muscles for fast running. With a lot of training you may be able to match or even beat that person. You never know until you try.

You need to be intelligent, but if you're just lazy I don't think you'll get anywhere unless you're insanely talented. I'm lazy.

There's a heck of a lot of very intelligent people doing shitty jobs. Hard work definitely does pay off in terms of getting a decent job, but without natural intelligence you can only climb so high.

"Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration"-Thomas Edison.Hard work did really pay because you sow what you reap. However, talent and luck are also needed. If you don't have any talent, no matter how much effort you have put in, there won't be success too.

As a writer who relies mostly on inspiration and talent, I have to say that hardwork pays up a lot more often. I wish I had even HALF the skill sets of most authors. And you don't really NEED talent to be a writer... you just need dedication to your craft. And well, a sense of how stories should be. No reasonable person wants to read a crappy novel/series/saga/wtfever.

I'm looking at you, Stephanie Meyer.

Hitler started as a mere painter, he has no military background at all

It's over-rated. A lazy genius like Einstein can cheat the system of education altogether.

Just because Einstein was able to do it doesn't matter. Most people that are really lazy won't get many rewards. If you work hard thought, there is a good chance you will be rewarded. 9 times out of 10 the lazy person will go no where.

How was Einstein lazy? He went to college, graduated, worked at a patent office, taught, lectured, and continued to work on new theories through-out his entire life. On top of all this, he did whatever he could do to promote Zionism.

Read his biography. Einstein's youth was literally the opposite of what we thinks of him. He is a complete slacker, anti-social and branded as dumb

Side: No

You can work your ass off and never achieve success. Society doesn't reward people that work, it rewards those who don't. If you want to achieve success in life, apply for welfare.

Talent will get you nowhere as well. One cannot compete with a drinking buddy. Hard work and talent will get you no where. Lie, cheat, steal and become an alcoholic. Follow this and you're destined for success.
