Taxpayers should have SOME say in how their taxes are used sometimes.

Sounds like a good idea, but the problem is that wouldnt know where to put their money; for example everybody would put their money into healthcare and education while not giving a cent to research or the military

For example religious liberty. I am glad Trump defunded Planned Parenthood, because Jews, Christians, and Muslims are not wanting to fund that.

Of course they do. They have that say when they vote, and they have that say when they complain to the people they voted for, and they have that say in a court of law if they decide to take it to a court of law.

What they don't have the right to do is just get pissed off and declare "no, none of MY money can go to that" and then just think their hissy fit in and of itself is a valid action. If you don't pay your taxes you're busted. If you subtract from your taxes an amount you didn't think you should have to pay, you're still busted. And if you block the activity your taxes went to cover then most likely yet again you're busted.

I am tired of liberals forcing Christians and others to pay for things that violate our or their religion. I have the abolute right to not poay for evolution to be taught when the Bible cannot, I refuse to fund your abortion on my wallet, sex change, gay agenda, antichristian programs. Want to fund that blank? Pay for it yourself. I refuse to tolerate liberal hypocrisy towards centrists like me, and if liberals keep attacking my religious rights, I will vote third party. IU have had it, had it, had it, with taxation without representation, which is slavery. #NotMyWallet

Essentially the manifesto of each party running for election will contain a broad description of how tax revenue will be spent.

To have a series of referendums on what, how or if taxes should be spent would cause a real bottleneck in the distribution of finances.

If the electorate would break away from their tribal voting habits and spend some time scrutinizing the declared programmes of the competing political parties they would have a good idea how their money was going to be spent by central government.
