That's almost as pathetic as asking people to teach you how to eat food and drink water. Hating Clinton and what her totally misguided political ideologies have done to America should be an instinctive reaction for any rational patriotic American citizen. Look at the national debt. Look at how Russia is calling the shots in Syria and are now positioning SAM missiles in that war torn region. Look at how America's international influence has been degraded. Well you're correct, I did go over the top and in that context it is only but right that I retract part of my original post. ''Hate'' is a very strong word and I don't think she should be ''hated'' per se. However, a person is what a person does. Her madcap policies which are destroying America, along with dubious non-political activities brands this woman an altogether untrustworthy and uncaring human being lacking the moral fibre to tackle the issues to which the nation has given priority. By definition, no one, including you and I have the full picture of her private life, so it is nigh impossible to judge her on anything other than what is in the public domain and there is no way this could equate to hatred. And that's exactly how NOT to persuade someone to see your side. Cartman, the USA is never going to get out of deadlock if it remains two polar opposites which just insult each other all the time. Ironically I'm really not even your polar opposite. Disagreeing with the conservative positions does not automatically make someone a liberal lion. And you're never going to persuade the middle moderates and the independents of the nation to see your side if it remains slash and burn opposites. And that's exactly how NOT to persuade someone to see your side. I think my way is more productive. People like you have no problem with forcing all states to change their marrige laws, no matter how many Americans in individual states were opposed to it, because you agree with Gay marriage. What if it were a Conservative mandate pushed on every state by the supreme court? How would you feel about every state being forced to change their laws to something you did not agree with? Do you believe in State's rights? Your Democrat party does not believe in State's rights if they go contrary to political correctness. The GOP actually allowed military cuts during the sequestor but AS ALWAYS, this extremist Democrat party would die before they reduced spending on or even the rate of growth of social programs. How did you like the IRS scandal where no one was ever punished for treating American political groups in a partisan manner while the head of the IRS just took the fifth! I am not voting for Trump. I am voting against Trump. Anything is better than having Trump. Even if I admire his passion, he is too unstable, unpredictable, uncontrollable. There is no third party close enough to the ideas that I support. The party closest to my beliefs is the Democratic Party. It is unfortunate that I am not a fan of the person representing the party. I voted for Bernie. That's the best response I've seen yet on this thread. Thanks It doesn't teach me to hate either Bill or Hillary though. Bill is a dog but frankly that isn't rare at all. And Hillary stood by her man and although she may have been a fool for that each couple makes their own decisions when they come to those crossroads. I could hate Hillary if it turned out she was actively luring victims to Bill and conspiring to make them victims and then cover it up. But I can't hate her simply for staying with a dog and trying to do damage control when he screws up (or around). 1

Maybe likewise you should be asking in a debate "Teach me to hate Trump". But no you're not. Because you and the majority on this site simply drew up your battle lines, closed your minds, and keep repasting the same angry bile rhetoric. I basically asked you to give me something other than bile, something documentary I might find compelling, and to see if you could build the bile up within me to join you. And basically most of the responses I got was why bother? Why bother? Then why do you even come to a debate website? Actually, I do not support either candidate. I think they both are not fit to run our country, and even though I do believe that the democratic ideals appeal to me more than republican ideals, I do not think it is fair for you to have others cherry pick the reasons why you should hate someone. Just to be clear, I'm not against voting for a Republican or a conservative. It depends on who they are and what they stand for. Although I'm not swayed by the Libertarian candidate or platform I generally am interested when more moderate and sensible people from that side of the political aisle talk about rebuilding the Republican Party. If you can teach me to hate Clinton I indeed at some point in the future might be able to vote for your side again. But in the meantime you've got a really tough time convincing me when the majority of the anti Clinton rhetoric borders on hysteria and your own champion in Trump is equal or worse in the reasons one might hate him. |
