I'm agreeing to your underlying concept that it's naive to think teens won't have sex before they're out of school and if they're going to do it they should be careful and use protection. But I do have a problem with the word "should" in the debate title. They "should" wait until they're ready to deal with the consequences of a pregnancy, as the other side already pointed out. Yes, there's nothing dirty about sex, it's just that some people try to make it seem so. Sex should be engaged upon to enhance a loving relationship from sexual maturity onwards. The only downside about having sex is that it can lead to kissing and holding hands and all that rubbish. Side: Teens should have it

It's truy sad we have so many IDOTS who ignore the facts!!!!!!!!!!!!! 60 years ago before sex ed., FAR FEWER TEEN PREGNANCIES! After sex ed., FAR MORE TEEN PREGNANCIES! The numbers of unwed mothers in the welfare roles keep growing. This sick amoral culture is a COMPLETE FAILURE!!! Teens are not responsible enough to be having sex!!!!!! They don't like using condoms! When a nation separates all common sense moral values, the culture will be ruined with the anything goes mentlity and we are livng the results. HUGE NUMBERS OF BROKEN FAMILIES WITH NO FATHERS AT HOME! Your birth control answer IS OBVIOUSLY NOT WORKING! Side: Teens should not have it

As a homosexual, the pregnancy thing does not apply to me but I use condoms all of the time. As for the straight kids I know who are sexually active, they all use condoms are on the pill. No one I know has gotten pregnant and I know a lot of other sexually active kids my age Side: Teens should have it

Maybe you can explain to me what on earth the people you know has to do with the facts. The facts are what I am talking about. Where do you think all those unwed mothers on welfare come from? The people you know? This is what I hate about these debate sites. When ever I debate those on the left, it is like talking to kids who refuse to actually address THE FACTS!! They will say things like.....well the people I know are not getting pregnant. SO WHAT! Talk about the facts! The FACTS are that we have far more teen pregnancies today with all our sex ed., then we did 60 years ago when there was no sex ed. TEENS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE AND SHOULD NOT BE HAVNG SEX....PERIOD!
