I am having trouble with that myself. I have a 12 year old who according to the law is too young still to stay home alone. It's fustrating because she is mature enough to stay home alone. She has a cell phone, I leave food made for her and she make her own as well. For crying out loud the girl walks to my job alone, which is not that close. It all depends on the child, every child is different some cannot stay home alone so it's hard to make that call. Setting one standard law is the only way to make it work. Side: IF YOU AGREE
