The Chronicles of Riddick is Highly Underated and Vin Diesel is an Idiot
I'm watching Riddick and Vin Diesel's retarded acting reminded me of Tosh's standup. One of the jokes, I'm winging it: "... that joke was great unless you're a Vin Diesel fan, in which case you shouldn't be here, you should be home, coloring an elephant praying someone puts it on the fridge; but they wont because elephants aren't orange you idiot."

I love this movie. Great for the scifi genre. Vin Diesel manages to single-handedly mangle a great sci-fi story... really, he can't turn off the white gangsta street speak and mannerism for one effing movie? Just one? I'm waiting for him to steel a street car and race it against a gang of phillipino nationalists to get his brother out of jail while his ex-heroine fiend gf is held hostage by the street race mafia... whateverthefuck, but his fucking suped-up Honda Civic (Suped-up Honda Civic? Really) fuel hose has been cut by some kind of ninja with saggy pants and he needs to magically make it go 60-95 in the last 30 yards of a street race that magically not a cop in all of Detroit has a clue about, even though everyone knows a Detroit copper would be dying for any opportunity to blow a round in the midst of some ghetto kids given 1/10 the opportunity. And where the fuck did that nitro switch come from? Really, and that totally would not rip apart the frame of any car made over a two decades ago in China. Whatever. Focus on the story, not his shitty acting. Side: Yes and Vin's an idiot

Chronicles of Riddick was terrible, yet Pitch Black was good, and Vin Diesal is hardly an actor, so if you want to watch real sci fi movies, I suggest Donnie Darko, Blade Runner, District 9, Children of Men, Back to the Future, 2001: Space Odyssey and more recently, Inception.
