But in the early days of the campaign, she’s had to answer questions about the “legitimacy” of her “blackness.” Online, stories have circulated suggesting that Harris is not African American because her parents are immigrants and she spent some of her childhood in Canada. During an appearance on “The Breakfast Club” radio show Monday, hosts DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God asked Harris about that. Harris pushed back. “I’m black, and I’m proud of being black. I was born black. I will die black,” she said. “I’m not going to make excuses for anybody because they don’t understand.” She went on to criticize those who question her racial identity. Robert “Beto” O’Rourke — has come under fire from one particular sector of the left, with an attack against his race and sex and an accusation of white male privilege that has been exploited ahead of an expected presidential run. That hit came from CNN’s race and “intersectionality”-obsessed senior political reporter, Nia-Malika Henderson, who titled her sanctimonious piece, “Beto’s excellent adventure drips with white male privilege.” What the fuck there STUPID ??????????????????? His privilege even allows him to turn a loss to the most despised candidate of the cycle into a launching pad for a White House run. Stacey Abrams, a Yale-trained lawyer, couldn't do this. O'Rourke is being criticized for his randomness. For his TMI'ing and for his "what do I want to do with my life" aimlessness. But the fact that he knows he has the freedom to cast about as a campaign-in-waiting forms, shows how much of his political identity is predicated on being white and male.

Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), who's running for the Democratic presidential nomination, on Monday pushed back on criticism she has faced over her black heritage, arguing that people in power are continuing to “sow hate and division.” In a radio interview on New York City radio station WWPR's “The Breakfast Club,” Harris equated the criticism to similar pushback that former President Obama experienced. Her parents are immigrants from India and Jamaica. When one of the hosts asked her about a meme that is going around saying that Harris is "not African-American, her parents were immigrants" Harris responded that she was "born in Oakland" and lived in the U.S. except for high school years in Canada. “This is not new to us and so I think that we know what they are trying to do. They are trying to do what has been happening over the last two years, which is powerful voices trying to sow hate and division. We need to recognize when we're being played," the 2020 presidential hopeful said in the radio interview. "I'm black, and I'm proud of being black," Harris later continued. "I was born black. I will die black, and I'm not going to make excuses for anybody because they don't understand." Harris, the former California attorney general and federal prosecutor, also defended her prosecutorial record regarding incarcerations that has come under fire from some progressives. Why is Progressives say the African is not black enough ???????????? Left-leaning CNN host Don Lemon openly wondered if rising star Kamala Harris is black enough. Said Lemon: “Being African-American is different than being black. You can be black and Cuban. You can be black and Caribbean. You can be black and Dominican. You can be black and, you know, South African. But the experience is different as an African-American, someone whose culture and experiences are born out of the American slave trade and … out of Jim Crow is different than someone whose ancestors weren’t and who didn’t have those experiences, if you were born out of that, if you have roots from that particular struggle.” Seems the Leftist have a problem here according to the African Don Lemon !!!!!!!!!!! The Democrats have at last recognised that cream is almost always white and this unbiased and non-discriminatory realization augurs well for their future successes at the polls.
