The Future of Artificial Intelligence

I'm new here and I have a subject I am very interested in. I would like to hear what you guys think of A.I and maybe have a good discussion about it.

I think it's inevitable as the lines between what we can do and what A.I can do begin to cross, that A.I will start doing more in place of humans. There are already some restaurants that use machines to make food for people, taking the jobs away from servers. Microsoft had an A.I that only after a few hours became racist. http://www.theverge.com/2016/3/24/11297050/tay-microsoft-chatbot-racist

I think we are on a verge of something potentially great and potentially terrible.

What are your thoughts on A.I.? Maybe we can narrow down a discussion. :D

That's something worthy of being at about the top of r/Todayilearned

Perhaps it already has been.

Which one? The Microsoft one or the mechanized fast food places?

If you like, this is an interesting video:

I won't say it's 100% accurate but it has some very interesting points.

Whatever our future is, I can see A.I having a large impact on it. Thing about A.I is that it also raises moral and philosophical questions, as Sam Harris has talked about.

Science and technology can help us improve, however, in so saying we have to be careful that we can control what we create.

Remember "The Matrix" movies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A.I. Is immortality. No way biological body will be immortal. Emotions are the hard part.
