Edward is abusive and 117. His relationship with Bella is based entirely on that fact that hes "super fine 10/10" otherwise hes quite two dimensional. I'd rather have someone more down to earth and real than some superhero. Same with Jacob, hes only in there because they wanted someone to not have their shirt on so women would just come to see it for a few hours of abs. Side: Team STFU

I say Edward :) I never really liked Jacob, with forcing Bella to kiss him with the threst of suicide- which is just plain wrong. Edward always understands and cares for Bella, where Jacob is selfish. Sure, Jacob may have muscles and the humour, but so does Edward (not much in the movie though.). Side: Edward

I've only seen the first film, and I thought it was pretty good - at least, better than I had expected. First, I want to ask a question: If you read the book, you already know the answer; right? Okay, now that that's settled with: I preferred Edward - necrophilia is way cooler than zoophilia. Side: Edward

I'm not directing this at you, of course. I just don't understand the fascination with Twilight. Edward is a protective boyfriend I agree, but really he only wants whats best for Bella. Really, if you think of the circumstances, Edward being a 108 year old Vampire who has never looked at a girl twice, but when he meets Bella, he falls in love. Jacob however, doesn't want whats best for Bella. He never thinks even for a second that maybe she is better off with Edward, but Edward did. And thats the only reason he left. To protect her. Jacob loves Bella, but not as much as Edward does. Edward would do anything for Bella. He loves her more than his own life. Jacob is Bella's best friend. Nothing more. And Jacob needs to accept that. Really, I think that Bella is far better off with Edward. He loves her and even if she did choose Jacob, Edward would never try to hurt them because he could never hurt Bella. Jacob's abs are impressive, but Edward's everlasting love for her is and should be the winner. Sure, he left her, but it killed him to lie about the reason. He was willing to hurt himself insanely just to protect her. Jacob threatened to kill himself if Bella didn't kiss him in Eclipse which is just plain out wrong. He is a friend and nothing more in Bella's mind until Jacob deludes her into thinking she loves him. Edward kills 2 of the vampires trying to kill Bella intentionally while Jacob kills one just because it was on his land. That one vampire (the dude with dreadlocks in the movie, forgot the name) was the only nice vampire in James's coven. He had warned the Cullens and Bella about James and was a vegetarian vampire for almost a year prior to getting killed by Jacob. Side: Edward

Jacob's love for Bella is also everlasting, whether he imprinted on someone else or not. He loves her based on what he knows about her. They have a long history together. Edward thought she smelled good. I have read the books and seen the films several times, and do not remember any instances in which Edward and Bella bond over any real interests, except for some music. The relationship between Bella and Edward is more juvenile than the one I had with my kindergarten boyfriend. (He at least made me mixtapes and we both enjoyed Disney movies and whales.) They barely know one another and all of a sudden this 17-year old girl is in love with someone with the wisdom and experiences of a 118 year old. That's screwed up. What could he possibly have in common with her. She's built like a 13-year old and has a dull personality. Wait a minute! I just figured it out. Jacob. He has a sense of humour and a cool personality. Edward is always so dramatic and going on about how vampires how no soul. Brooding just isn't cool. Plus, Edward has no respect for Bella at all - it he did he would have respected her choice to become a vampire and not treat her like a child with his "I know what's best" attitude. He once delibrately broke her car just so she won't go see Jacob; the guy who helped Bella when she needed it the most. He also pressurized Bella when it came to marriage and college. Marriage is meant to be a partnership and if she doesn't want to marry him, he should accept that. Side: Jacob

He's warm, both in personality and body temperature. Automatically, that's a huge plus, seeing as how humans are warm blooded. Also, you'd be able to have living children with him. Plus, he's a mechanic. He's extremely loyal, and never talks down to Bella. He only wants what's best for her. He would never commit suicide because Bella left him. (Edward wanted to die if Bella wouldn't be with him. Man up.) He's much ore strong-willed than Edward in that way. Side: Jacob

Bella is SO pathetic! She literally NEEDS Edward in order to survive. Dude if you need a guy that much to the point where you can barely breathe and someone needs to find you in the freezing ass woods and someone needs to find you and then the next few months are absolutely nothing to you, you really need a reality check. Jacob brought her back from her sulking pathetic ways. He made it so she could "survive." And yeah he gets with the daughter, BFD! What is you point.
