The Romans did ugly things to Jesus, before they crucifies Him. He loves you, all.

Jesus was slapped, struck in His Face with a rod of iron, beaten with whips that tore His Flesh, mocked, rejected, and they hammered nails into His Hands and Feet. When Jesus was on the cross, the Romans made fun of Him. During His suffering, Jesus placed His Mother under the care of one of His Apostles. Jesus bore the wrath of the Father, and cried out "My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me", fulfilling Old Testament prophecy. Then Jesus laid down His Life. His dead Body was in the grave for three days, until Jesus rose from the dead, to give repentant sinners a resurrection, and a hope. I want you all to know how much Jesus loves you, and did these things so you can go to Heaven, and be with Him forever, if you repent of all sins, and receive Jesus, as your God, Lord, and Savior. Jesus is so worth it, and I can prove to anyone that asks, that Jesus is God, in Human Flesh.
That's the way the story goes. It is things like that that made me question its validity. "My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me?" Wasn't that called "talking to oneself?" I mean, if Jesus IS God?? Most mythology follows a story line, even if it's an unbelievable story. This book constantly twists the narrative to unbelievability … unless one is absolutely driven to believe it, no matter what. 1
