The Second Amendment says nothing about bullets.

The Second Amendment:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Sense the NRA and and there gun happy nut jobs love loop-holes how about a loop-hole of our own, The Second Amendmen says nothing about bullets, if the USA wants to be assholes all they have to do is ban bullets, how would you feel about that loophole?

Banning guns is legal for that matter, unless one is part of a state militia which is regulated, as it clearly says. Reading into the 2nd amendment that every dip shit in the U.S. should be allowed any gun they want is willful illiteracy.

The suprem court has ruled befor in the past that the terms people and militia mean the same thing. So militia means all of us not just the national guard.

That supreme court was moronic, kind of like this one was moronic when they said corporations are people, or all of the moronic supreme courts that never outlawed slavery before the civil war. Sometimes the supreme court is just moronic.

Luckily we can easily work around that particular moronic ruling for the good of society since there is nothing in that ruling which says jack all about regulation of guns, or bullets for that matter.

Hooray! I never thought of the bullets issue. Bullets should be banned.

The freedom of speech didn't say anything about the freedom to listen.

Bullets and cartridges would be counted as arms. They are associated and implied through the amendment. You had your gun, but add bullets and powder and you have your arms.

Ammo is not counted as arms to tell you the truth, I been dong some digging and every constitutional lawyer says that they are not considered arms, that being said they can legally ban ammo without going against the Constitution, I guess you can call it a loot-hole just like buying guns without a back round check from a gun show, oh the irony.

I've have always considered ammo to be a part of arms. And if ammo is banned, you would have a revolution on your hands. And some states would just ignore that rule anyway.

Bullets are a component of self defense. If the govt. tried to ban them, there would be a serious storm of excrement!

The Second Amendment is hilarious to me, personally. Since it just says that "the right to bear arms" in it, I could walk around carrying an RPG-7 and they couldn't do anything about it.

Please don't take that away from me.

Haha, IKR? When people use the 2nd amendment to oppose specific gun control (aka, saying "no guns of THIS type, since there's no DEFENSE benefit, and only OFFENSE type benefits... FTR, I wouldnt give a fuck if guns were banned.), I think, "wow." It must be just because they like the weapons, otherwise they'd be rooting for unbanning all other weapons that were banned (crazy guns, etc), like some of the crazies who realize their position calls for this and don't want to change their minds.

No leave my bulllets alone....what use is arms with bullets? Bullets are strongly implied.

They wouldn't be able to ban bullets because its such a huge market place in america. It would probably crush our economy and send us into another depression. Secondly, bullets, and guns for the mater go allot more good than they do bad here in the U.S. People use them to hunt and for sports, so if they outlawed the sale of bullets they would have so many problems with a huge portion of the population. Currently there over 314million guns in the U.S. This information is from 2009, so the numbers have probably gone up. If they tried to pass a law like it they would have so much opposition that it wouldn't have even a small chance to pass.

Sense the NRA and and there gun happy nut jobs

THEIR!!!!

I'm pretty sure bullets count as arms. Not really an expert on what counts as arms or not, but that will always be the case. The whole point of being armed and being abled to defend yourself and others is to have ammunition to your weapon... and banning bullets would mean you wouldn't be able to defend yourself as a militia... so a bit silly.
