Performance enhancing drugs are needed in sports only because of the thirst of the fans. We want to see more touchdowns, guys that jump higher and want to dunk the ball more crazily than Michael Jordan ever did. The truth is the bar keeps on getting higher and higher and we are never satisfied. The pressure is on the athlete to do spectacular things because that also means more dollars for the corporation. If you want clean sports have drug tests every month and penalise the athletes heavily. Side: It should be legal

Generally I believe in to each their own. Which would suggest look away and let people do what they're going to do. Except the problem in sports competitions is it then would create an atmosphere where participants have very little choice in whether or not to take enhancements. Coaches and teams and trainers and peers would all be in an arms race to get the best team through enhancements. That's just not a healthy way to conduct sports. Side: it shouldnt be legal

Performance enhancing drugs should never be legal. It is very disappointing to see athletes you look up to do great things only to realize they do not deserve any praise because they did preformance enhancing drugs. We need real athletes we can look up to and inspire us to do great things, not one who cheats. Side: it shouldnt be legal
