Yes. Even the term "welfare state" is a con. Since employment has skyrocketed after the second "Great Depression", it's largely disappeared. If the economy was ACTUALLY that good more people would be making a REAL living wage, wouldn't need 2 (or more) jobs in the house. If health care was made less expensive and bankruptcy didn't loom so large if you get sick or injured, we could cut welfare even more. The "con game" is those that constantly create the gap in the wealth and make it harder to make ends meet. The Stock Market is doing great, but, the rest of the economy sucks! Side: Congame
