The best system is a social democracy where you throw in some technocracy/libertarianism

I used to call myself a supporter of RBE/socialism and while I highly sympathize with them and wish they could happen I no longer see them as realistic. I have given my reasons for that before but no one was intelligent enough to listen or engage with it so I can't be fucked to clarify what RBE is or reiterate my reason for no longer supporting it unless someone bothers to ask. My current position is that the closest realistic system to something truly ideal would be a form of social democracy where ideas of technocracy and libertarianism are put into practice. Libertarianism is not an inherently right wing thing btw and I am not referring to the American libertarian party, in case you happen to be too retarded to see that for yourself. Feel free to ask questions about or present stupid arguments against my currently supported system.

Can you elaborate on your meaning of 'social democracy' a bit more? I'm familiar with the general notion, but I've seen enough variation that it seems prudent to ask.

Which technocratic and libertarian ideas would you integrate with social democracy? Do you think this integration works better or worse at some geopolitical scales (e.g. cities vs states or territories)? Do you differentiate technocracy from meritocracy?

I'm also mildly curious to know what RBE is. I'm not familiar with it, or at least not by its acronym. If your reasons for no longer supporting RBE/socialism contribute to or are adjacent to your reasons for preferring a technocratic, libertarian social democracy I would also be interested to hear them.

You were correct until that point, and then you blundered in the end game.
