The best way to occupy our kids during the holidays is to give homework.

Nowadays, with long summer holidays, some schools give homework to occupy the kids so they won't get bored. What do you think??

i have to agree on this one the more homework we have during holliday breaks because it keeps our minds buessy and keeps us from running the streets getting into trouble and it makes us smarter.. :)

I think they shouldn't have homework during holidays because I would like to spend time with my family on Thanksgiving and Christmas and sometimes we go on vacation in the summer and I wouldn't want any homework over the summer break.

"All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy"

Childhood is for living as well as for learning, holidays are just that, a break. I don't know any child that can't occupy themselves.

I do agree with this statement. In my point of view, childhood seems to be nothing but education and stress, and the holidays are meant to be a break period of the children to rest. However, some schools think that the kids will be bored and make use of this rest time to bombard our kids with homework!

homework is for during school semesters kids need breaks and being one of them well at high school you really need to turn off during the holidays or you become stressed that causes a drop in the effect in your work and attention you give to the teacher.

We do need breaks it is not fair for us to have to study during break. The kids who do it might get upset and run away so don't push kids to there limits so do the right thing and don't give out homework for Christmas Thanksgiving or any other holiday.
