How do you cope with the nihilism that all true atheists (such as myself) must inevitably experience? Nihilism is for silly retards who assume that religion is the only way life can have meaning and that the only person who can manufacture a sustainable moral framework is God. nihilism never hurt anyone. attachment to a meaning which never existed hurts people. and i don't think most atheists experience nihilism. they tend to be humanists, and draw significance from the "human project" which replaced god (i.e. most atheists have not killed god, they've just rebranded it). 1

Of course I believe in the Everlasting Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are living it today. I understand the skepticisms and the opposing thoughts people may have. However, that doesn't move my one bit from where I stand. My beliefs in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit remain unbroken. |
