The origin of man

Creation, evolution, what do you believe?

While I am a Christian and Catholic at that, I know evolution exists. The question is, did God create man and is evolution something that started by the way he made all creatures or, is evolution a divine plan? That I cannot answer.

Evolved from hominids in Africa. Then split up and diversified across the world.

The alternatives aren't appealing.

It is absolutely obvious that we came into existence by evolution. There is too much evidence for evolution to deny it.

I believe in Creation, that God made the earth, and everything in it in 6 days/24 hours

So do you also believe the Earth is only ~6000 years old?

Yes, I do. I can't imagine this earth being billions and billions of years old.

Even when I used to be religious, I still acknowledged evolution as true because of the vast amount of evidence in support of it. When I was religious, however, I believed in creation in the sense that god created life in general (or just the universe in a more broad sense) and evolution followed suit. Now I'm not so sure because I choose not to believe things on blind faith anymore.

God formed man out of clay and breathed life into him.Eve and Adam were the first human samples and their deaths prove " Men are Mortal";These two species played in the Garden of Eden ,now which is located in Auckland (Newzealand). From there on evolution has got a head-start.

The Garden of Eden is in New Zealand? Is there some Biblical account of this?

Edit: Nevermind, just looked it up. Didn't realize you were just referring to a garden :P

I know full well the Garden is somewhere near Tigris but actually there's another garden of the same name in Auckland; No biblical account to be honest but you never know what exactly happened in the past and in which garden did they play.
