I don't exactly need to "steal" the ship. My uncle owns a very large (very very very large) sail boat that he and a few of his buds have learned to the fullest to use. They bought it out of fear that America would hit a crisis that ended with America going to Anarchism for whatever period of time. They would escape to the Ocean to where they would live forever with no taxes.

Probably a Socialist Democratic Society, however all too often a power mongering man or woman takes control and totally twists the society. So maybe, even better... A society that doesn't have a supreme person that makes decisions but rather the entire country as one makes a vote and one or more people announce what the majority vote is...

Theoretically I would love to agree with you regarding a true, pure Democracy. I'm just afraid of what people in this country might actually vote for if that were the case. The power and momentum of the mob can be horrifying, and to give the mob pure power over society could have some seriously terrifying consequences.
