Attempt to arrest a drunk driver who fights them, steals their tazer, and tries to use it on them. All so that they can shoot him knowing the shit storm it will cause; specifically that their chief will run away with her pension while they are fired for doing the job right.
Crime has been on the incline since Ferguson. Theoretically, this is because pro-active policing is on the decline following the justified shooting of Michael Brown. If that theory is true, then how much greater will that effect be now? It'll be back to the days of skyhigh crime and fat cops in doughnut shops rather than fit cops on the streets.
If you pass out behind the wheel of the vehicle you are operating while intoxicated, "I was sleeping" won't be a defense that holds up. You might as well claim that you aren't driving but rather "traveling on the land".
If you try to use a weapon designed for incapacitation against an armed cop, he should shoot you. He should shoot you. His life is in danger when he is incapacitated by you and you now has access to his gun.
Again, passing out drunk behind the wheel is not an out for OWI. Even if you really are sleeping. That's what passed out drunk is.
And yes, if you attempt to incapacitate a police officer, he should shoot you. I explained exactly WHY he should shoot you. You thinking that's bad is not an argument. Don't use weapons on the cops, they will shoot you.
You don't get a ticket for OWI, which is what he did, you get arrested, which is what they were attempting to do.
Is it so hard to avoid using weapons against police? They were lawfully arresting a man who turned violent. In his assault on the officers he disarmed one of the tazer. If you successfully utilize a tazer against a cop, you can take the cops gun. That's why cops are justified in using lethal force in this situation. It doesn't matter that you don't like it. It saves cops lives.
What would have happened if Wendy's called a tow truck instead of 911???
Are you against police busting people for driving drunk? Are you angry that Wendy's is in favor of busting drunks? Should Wendy's be burned down for helping to uphold the law?
